Silverado, California

In the 1970’s, Ron and Diane Miller purchased their first vineyard and sold grapes to Napa’s finest vintners and in 1981, they broke ground on their winery set on a knoll above the Silverado Trail.
The name “Silverado” pays homage to Robert Louis Stevenson’s “The Silverado Squatters” which chronicled time he spent in the wine country in the late-1800s. Today, the winery enjoys traditional architecture with modern winemaking equipment and artisan winemaking techniques.
Silverado farms seven different family-owned vineyards in Napa Valley and Carneros:
- Stags Leap Vineyard
- Miller Ranch
- Mt. George Vineyard
- Firetree Vineyard
- Vineburg Vineyard
- Soda Creek Ranch
In each vineyard location, cultivation is individually tuned to the requirements of soil, climate and grape variety to achieve the highest quality.
