For getting a nice colour und a good tanin-structur we ferment our Spätburgunder on their skins. After this fermentation the red wine comes for about 10 months in the barrique – barrel. During this time the lactic
acid fermentation starts. This fermentation changes the hard malic acid in the softer lactic acid. Without filtration we fill our reds in bottels for saving flavour and colour.
This Spätburgunder red wine has a nice cherry-red colour which is typical for the variety. The Spätburgunder has an characteristic nose.
The nose reminds on ripe deep fruits from the forest like blue – berries. In the mouth the wine has a nice powerful and long structur.
Food recommendation: grilled, red-meat, intense creamy cow-cheese
