Reichsrat Von Buhl, Pfalz, Germany

Shaped by the past, praised by the present and convinced of the future – the Reichsrat Von Buhl estate has been a family-owned business for over 150 years and has ranked amongst the most prestigious estates in Germany ever since.
The estate was founded back in 1849 by Franz Peter Buhl a vociferous spokesman for the interests of German winegrowers. Under the management of this son, Armand Buhl, who inherited their top Forster sites when he married the beautiful Julie, the estate made a significant name for itself well beyond the borders of Germany.
The winegrowing estate has about 50 hectares of prime winegrowing land around the Middelhaardt region of Deidesheim bordering the western bank of the Rhine. Estate Manager Stefan Weber is supported by a committed young team, who over the last few years have drawn on their excellent winemaking facilities and shown their metal with international success reminiscent of glorious days gone by.
The Reichsrat Von Buhl Estate combines a 150 year old philosophy of uncompromising quality with long standing tradition and vineyards already famous in the 19th Century. This impressive heritage is the incentive and inspiration which allows them to create wines of the highest quality which are highly esteemed throughout the world.
