The Momberg’s of Middelvlei have farmed their land since 1919, which is currently run by the two brothers Tinnie and Ben Momberg. Tinnie shares his father’s firm belief in traditional winemaking methods and continues to produce the fine red wines that Middelvlei has become well known for.

Not only do they produce exceptional wines, but the Momberg family are also heavily involved in farm worker development and community support strategies in the rural areas of the Western Cape for which they have won numerous awards and gained high praise.

Middelvlei combine their fantastic heritage and tradition for excellence with innovation, always creating new blends and looking for exciting ways forward. They created the Brick Road range exclusively for World Wine Agencies and for restaurants who needed a soft, well crafted Stellenbosch wine that is ideal for premium wine by the glass, and which complement their stylish Estate range perfectly.
