Grape variety: 100% Syrah

Region of Origin: Tupungato, Mendoza

Vineyard details: alluvial soil and drip irrigation.

Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.

Vine cultivation: vertical shoot position trellising (VSP)

Harvest details: by hand in cases, picked from April 5th. Yield: 9,800 kg/ha.

Vinification: grapes were destemmed and crushed. Maceration before fermentation. 15 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25-29ºC. Natural malolactic fermentation.

Ageing process: in American and French oak barrels for 6 months. Bottling ageing for 5 months.

Pre-bottling operations: Diatoms and Plate filtration.

Colour: bright and intense red with black tingles.

Aromas: fig and red fruits with walnuts and black pepper combined with tobacco and chocolate.

Palate: harmonious and structured tannins, long and tasty finish.

Alcohol content: 13.6 % Vol (20º C)

Total acidity: 4.85 g/l tartaric acid

Residual Sugar: 2.5 g/l

Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC/ Cellar up to 4 years

Enjoy it with grilled poultry, turkey or smoked wild boar.
