Polo Professional Malbec


Grape variety: 100% Malbec

Region of Origin: Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza

Vineyard details: alluvial soil and flat irrigation.

Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.

Vine cultivation: vertical shoot position trellising (VSP)

Harvest details: picked by hand in cases from the first week of April. Yield: 10,000 kg/ha

Vinification: grapes were destemmed and crushed.

Maceration before fermentation. 15 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25-29ºC. Natural malolactic fermentation.

Ageing process: in French oak barrels for 6 months. Bottling ageing for 5 months.

Pre-bottling operations: Diatoms and Plate filtration.

Colour: deep red with vigorous purple shades

Aromas: ripe red fruits, cherry and strawberry, with notes of coffee and chocolate from the oak.

Palate: good and velvety body with fleshy tannins and long finish

Alcohol content: 13.8 % Vol (20º C)

Total acidity: 5.35 g/l tartaric acid

Residual Sugar: 2 g/l

Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC / Cellar up to 4 years

Enjoy it with roasted meat like lamb and spicy sauces dishes.
