Polo Amateur Malbec

Grape variety: 100% Malbec
Region of Origin: Maipú – Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza
Vineyard details: alluvial soil and drip irrigation.
Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.
Vine cultivation: vertical shoot position trellising.
Harvest details: picked by hand last week of March. Yield: 15,000 kg/Ha.
Vinification: grapes were destemmed and crushed. Maceration before fermentation. 20% thermoflash vinification. 80% traditional
vinification, 7 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 26ºC. Natural malolactic fermentation. Ageing: 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
Pre-bottling operations: Filtration with diatoms and membranes.
Colour: vibrant red with violet hues
Aromas: delicate and harmonious with an intense mix of red fruit, plum marmalade and cherry
Palate: intense, round and sweet tannins. Persistent finish.
Alcohol content: 13.6% Vol. (20º C)
Total Acidity: 5.4 g/l tartaric acid
Residual Sugar: 3.6 g/l
Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC / Cellar up to 2 years
