Polo Amateur Malbec Rose
Region of Origin: Maipú, Mendoza
Vineyard details: alluvial soil and drip irrigation
Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.
Vine cultivation: vertical shoot position trellising
Harvest details: by hand in cases, picked the first week of March. Yield: 15,300 kg/Ha.
Vinification: grapes were destemmed and crushed. Maceration (72 hours) before fermentation. Static free run and then separation of the liquid part. 15 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks as a white must at 15ºC.
Pre-bottling operations: Filtration with diatoms and membranes.
Colour: light ruby red with light blue dyes
Aromas: intensely fruity, mix of strawberry, cherry, raspberry and herbs
Palate: fresh, soft bodied and balanced
Alcohol content: 13% Vol. (20º C)
Total Acidity: 6.5 g/l tartaric acid
Residual Sugar: 7.24 g/l
Serving Temperature: 12-14ºC / Cellar up to 2 years
