Coiron Shiraz/Malbec


Grape variety: 50% Shiraz; 50% Malbec
Region of Origin: Rivadavia - Maipú, Mendoza
Vineyard details: alluvial soil, flat - drip irrigation.
Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.
Vine cultivation: 50% arbour and 50% vertical shoot position trellising (VSP)

Harvest details: picked from February 10th to March 10th. Yield: 22,000 kg/Ha

Vinification: grapes were destemmed and crushed.
Maceration before fermentation. 50% thermoflash vinification. 50% traditional vinification, 7 days in stainless steel tanks at 25-27ºC.

Pre-bottling operations: Filtration with 0,65μm absolute membrane.

Colour: purplish red

Aromas: fresh red fruits, notes of coffee

Palate: good structure with friendly tannins

Alcohol content: 13.3% Vol (20º C)

Total Acidity: 5.5 g/l tartaric acid

Residual Sugar: 4.85 g/l

Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC
