Coiron Chardonnay/Torrontes


Grape variety: 50% Chardonnay – 50% Torrontés

Region of Origin: Tupungato – Lavalle, Mendoza

Vineyard details: alluvial soil. Drip – flat irrigation.

Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.

Vine cultivation: 70% arbour – 30% vertical shoot position trellising.

Harvest details: picked from February 10th to March 20th. Yield: 20,000 kg/Ha.

Vinification: grapes were destemmed and 100% crushed.
Cold skin contact before fermentation, for Torrontés grapes.
Other techniques used: enzymes. 15 days of alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15-17ºC.

Pre-bottling operations: Filtration with 0,45μm absolute membrane.

Colour: light yellow with gold tinges

Aromas: floral background that combines with honey and citric aromas

Palate: sweet, fresh and pleasant finish

Alcohol content: 12.6% Vol (20º C)

Total acidity: 6 g/l tartaric acid

Residual Sugar: 6.85 g/l

Serving Temperature: 12-14ºC

Enjoy it now as an aperitif or with deserts.
