WINEMAKING NOTES
Aromas of violet, wild cherry, fresh bay leaf and white chocolate lure you in to this dark ruby hued Cabernet Sauvignon. Rich flavors of blackberry, Dutch cocoa, cinnamon, and red currants tease the taste buds and continue on through the mid palate finishing with notes of cappuccino and dark plum.
FOOD PAIRING
Aged for 10 months on 70% French and 30% American oak, this wine has been ned and filtered to create a smooth, rich, medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine will pair nicely with spicy lamb sliders, portabella mushroom and bacon pizza or a at iron steak with white
cheddar mashed potatoes.
This wine is sourced 100% from the Clarksburg appellation and 100% from the Wilson Vineyard. The Crusher is a tribute to the fundamental relationship between the grower and the winemaker. Influenced by a Marine Climate with warm days and cool nights; Clarksburg is cooled by the same breezes o the Bay as the Carneros region of Napa and Sonoma.
The clay and loam soils are rich, fed by runo from the nearby Sierra Nevada Mountains, ensuring lush, healthy fruit.
