WINEMAKING NOTES:
Our 2010 Smoking Loon Syrah is dark and rich with aromas of plum, ripe wild strawberry and savory herb notes. On the palate, dense fruit flavors of red raspberry and sweetened dried cranberry are pleasantly contrasted by earthy notes of Dutch cocoa with a lingering trace of blueberry through the finish. This nely balanced medium-bodied Syrah has a subtle, mouth-watering tartness that makes it a lovely food-friendly wine.

FOOD PAIRING:
Try pairing with hearty dishes such as beef bourguignon or Bualo Burgers with sweet potato fries. This wine continues to be a regular Syrah fan favorite.
