WINEMAKING NOTES:
Light garnet in the glass, this Pinot Noir is fresh and easy drinking.
Aromas of bright cherry and wild strawberry leap forth and marry with white true, chai and forest oor nuances. Zesty, ripe flavors of cranberry and tart raspberry are complemented by pomegranate and sandalwood notes through the finish.

FOOD PAIRING:
Much of our 2010 Pinot Noir’s character comes from blending the fruit of several notably cool California growing regions including Clarksburg, Santa Barbara, and Monterey. This versatile wine pairs nicely with a wide array of foods. Try it with Chicken Marsala, rilled pork chops or serve with baked Brie.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:
Using a classic négociant approach to wine, we combine California’s best growing regions each vintage to source fruit for our full-bodied wines. Made for people who appreciate wine without pretense, Smoking Loon is a tribute to the independent bohemian side of the Golden State.
