“LIVING THE BRAND” AT BEAUFORT POLO CLUB
Tuesday, 18 May, 2010 by ZoeT
Committed as always to “living the brand”, Nicky participated in a demonstration training session at Beaufort Polo Club this week and the photos attached are the embarrassing documentation of that morning! Together with representatives from Horse Magazine and Bath Life, Nicky spent a fascinating 2 hours learning the rudiments of how to play the fast and skilled game of polo. Their patient tutors, Caspar and the legendary Claire Tomlinson, showed the ladies how to balance, ride and hit at the same time (or tried!), and explained the basic rules of the game.
La Chamiza will be present at a number of polo events this year, for details of where and when to see join us to watch this exhilarating sport contact us today!

As usual, La Chamiza wines made instant friends, including the Captain of the England Polo team for the morning’s game, and great player 6-goal player, Nacho Gonzalez (pictured here, demonstrating his enjoyment of the wine!) Read more
Polo in the Park
Sunday, 14 June, 2009 by NickyB
Over 14000 people visited Hurlingham Ground in SW London over a weekend in June to watch the World’s first new-style spectator polo. Polo in the Park was organised by people who love polo, at the original home of polo, for people who could love polo, if only it were easier to understand and follow as a game. La Chamiza was present of course, enjoyed throughout the main event and the VIP hospitality area!! Look out for us at this event next year but not just in London, in 5 cities across the globe!

This is the third year that World Wine Agencies have exhibited and I was genuinely surprised at the number of people who questioned whether we should be participating. For me, the answer is a no-brainer – as long as we continue to generate business from it, we will be there. Read more
