5 Star wine

“Bold aromas of blackcurrant leaf, plum, black cherry and kirsch. Smooth, elegant and very sleek, with a very fine texture and silky tannins. It has pure fruit and is made to impress. A bit of a bruiser but has zest and freshness.”

SILVERADO SOLO 2008  HAS ARRIVED…

jamessuckling.com/ James Suckling 94 pts 21-Jun-11 2008

”This is a complex wine with wonderful aromas of dried flowers, chocolate, currants and forest fruits. Full body, with firm tannins and a long flavorful finish. Leave it three to five years in your cellar for now.”

Wine Enthusiast Steve Heimoff 94 pts Sep-11 2008

“An absolutely gorgeous Cabernet. It flatters all the way through, from the flamboyantly ripe cassis, cherry, cocoa and anise flavors to the smooth tannins and long, spicy finish. So refined and rich, yet so elegant. Should age for at least the next 6-8 years.”

steveheimoff.com Steve Heimoff 29-Apr-11 2008 TOP WINES OF THE WEEK

“Napa Valley did well this past week. Out of about 110 wines tasted, six from Napa Valley were placed in Steve’s Top Ten including Solo!
